Maternity Clothes can be quite expensive and can cause a huge dent in your finances. The reason for this is that clothes require a lot of extra material because of your ever extending waist line. But, if you really look around, you can buy maternity clothes that may not be that expensive at all and are still quite fashionable.
Being pregnant is a very important phase in your life and you want to be able to always cherish the times and retain the taste for clothes that you have always had. The present economic crisis can be a time of uncertainty, but if you are shopping for clothes to fit you during your maternity, you need to keep all things in perspective.
It is of course your own financial situation that will really determine whether you can afford maternity clothes that are stylish and expensive, but you need to examine whether you really need to buy these expensive stuff. If you save that money now, you can go and splurge once the baby is born and buy the little one a lot of clothes from the boutiques you want.
Remember that maternity clothes are worn for a very short time, measured more in weeks and months, as you would start requiring them only when you are in your fifth or sixth month.
There are a lot of thrift shops where you can buy maternity clothes that are not too costly, and also there are ways on how you can save all that money by getting them for free. Just peep into your husband?s closet and check if he has jeans and shirts that you can borrow for a few months. His dress shirts should be more enough to cover your growing belly and the length will fill easily cover your body to the extent required. This is of course assuming that your husband is bigger built than you are.
Friends and relatives are another source for maternity clothes.
The limited use of such clothes will certainly be in the closets of those of your friends and family who have babies recently. Be prepared to accept the choice that they had, and if you are not too finicky you could save yourself some money. You can consider modifying them with accessories or buttons; try to give it your own personal touch.
You can also opt for clothes that are required for women who have a larger build then you. We are talking about the Plus size. These clothes can be quite fashionable though the pants may seem a little baggy, on your slighter frame. The shirts could easily help you to disguise your waistline
Also, look for stretch pants and shirts that are baggy and other dresses that do not emphasize a waistline. After all you need to change your fashion only for a short time or at least until such time as when maternity clothes are the only ones that will suits you.
Because of the short time that maternity clothes are required, they will never get worn out. Thus, you may find some bargains in thrift shops and consignment shops and come up with some interesting buys.
Consignment shops for children have also a stock of maternity clothes occasionally and you can peep in there. Also, as said before, plus size sections in the department store and the men?s section can be worth a look. A sale may get you those clothes for a really cheap price.
If you are working and need to look smart in the office, a male sports jacket may camouflage your pregnancy to some extent and also make you look smart. Think of more ideas when you browse around the stores. Who knows you may come up with an idea that is a trend setter.
Do a bit of planning and let your imagination takes place. You may come up with maternity clothes that will more than do the job and at a cost that you can afford.

Vijay Kannan asked:
“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”—Steve Jobs
How visual impact controls success of your websites?
Try this at home. Turn your TV to a news channel like CNN or MSNBC and mute the sound. Do the visuals communicate without sound? News channels rely heavily on graphics and visuals to tell their stories. The same is exceedingly true for the Web. The only exception is that the Web is user driven. That means your Web site visitor must click and navigate around your Web site to browse its information.
Does your navigation “read” well? Do your photos and graphics communicate quickly and clearly? If not, your site may be getting passed over by disinterested visitors.
Design is all around us. It permeates our lives from the subliminal to the intentional. The keyboard you’re typing on and the mouse you’re clicking were first developed and conceived by an industrial design team. The chair you’re sitting in was developed by an ergonomics design team. The box your chair was shipped in and its printing was developed by an advertising packaging team.
Design priorities
• Communicate clearly so that users understand you. Users allocate minimal time to initial website visits, so you must quickly convince them that the site’s worthwhile.
• Provide information users want. Users must be able to easily determine whether your services meet their needs and why they should do business with you.
• Offer simple, consistent page design, clear navigation, and an information architecture that puts things where users expect to find them.

Pallavi asked:
The single most important factor in having a website is professional web design. A website that stands out from the crowd is the difference between you & your competitors.
Wensil’s web designers consult with you to learn about your business & the goal for the website design. Using expert web design skills we then design landing pages that entice visitors to act on those goals. Various steps which follow during designing sites.
Strategy during WebDesigning
1. Requirements Analysis
Determine the goals for the website from the perspective of the user and the business. Determine the user needs and target usability requirements. Evaluate existing versions of the site. Perform a competitive analysis. Perform user interviews and surveys.
2. Conceptual Design
Sketch out a site design and architecture at an abstract level. Conduct a task analysis to find critical features.
3. Mockups / Prototypes
Rapidly create visual representations (mockups) or interactive representations (prototypes) of the site. Evaluate usability through focus groups, user tests, and walkthroughs. Use the evaluation results to create more mockups or improve the prototypes. Repeat this process (design iteration) until the design and usability goals are met
4. Production
Create the final product. Evaluate functionality through testing, quality assurance, usability testing, and field testing. Use the evaluation results to improve the product. Repeat these processes (production iteration) until the business goals are met.
5. Launch and Maintenance
Launch the website. Maintain and refine with user feedback. Use the feedback to create new requirements, and begin major design improvements (system iteration).
Evaluation occurs at every stage of the process. Similar types of evaluation can occur at different stages of the design process to keep in mind the goals of the project and the users’ needs. And if it comes down to a choice, reduce the scope of the project rather than the usability.

adityasnv asked:
Below are some useful and important tips for designing a web site.
· Neat and Easy Navigation: Navigation of links on your site plays a big role in determining the stickiness of your site (how long your visitor stays and explores your site). Ask yourself this, What do visitors do as soon as they open your site? They would probably read the content of the present page and then look around to find any other page that interests them.
· Text attracts attention before graphics: Contrary to what you might think, the first thing users look at on a website isn’t the images. Most casual users will be coming to your site looking for information, not images, so make sure your website is designed so that the most important parts of your text are what is most prominent.
· Clean Layout Design: A clean layout that uses a lot of white space enhances a new look in webdesign. Try to keep the focus on your content, use a template for this. Use fonts that will be available on all computers to prevent your site looking messed up.
· Formatting can draw attention: To keep users from skipping over the main and most important points in your content use bold, capitalized, italicized, colored, and underlined text. Use these things judiciously however, as too much will make your page hard to read and send readers away.
· Optimum Load Time: Make sure your load time is low.
· Minimize Graphics, Flash and scripts: They hugely increase your file size.
· Optimize your HTML & script code: Make sure that your site doesn’t have any unwanted tags or unused scripts.
.
· Large blocks of text are avoided. Studies have shown that that webdesign nj is not going to take the time to study large blocks of text no matter how informative or well-written they might be. Because of this, you need to break up these larger blocks of text into smaller paragraphs. Highlighting specific areas and pulling out bullet points can also help to keep user attention.
· Design for all Screen Resolutions: A site that is easy-to-use always encourages visitors to stay and read your content. For site with long pages of content this is very crucial as the amount of scrolling required is reduced. Suppose your site doesn’t look good for a particular resolution it is very probable that the visitor will close the browser window feeling that the web page is not for their viewing. It is best for webdevelopment ny.
· Bigger images get more attention: If you are going to use images on your page, bigger is better. People are more interested in an image where they can see details and information clearly. Just make sure that any image you are using is particularly relevant to your text, otherwise it will most likely be ignored.
· Ensure Web site scalability: Make sure your code and design is scalable as webdevelopment nj. As technology advances and configuration of computers & their monitors keep increasing and varying it is impossible to test your site in all screen sizes and platforms.
· Cross Browser Compatible: Make sure you check your site for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Netscape Navigator .

Red1 asked:
The Internet has been around for sometime but its popularity started a little more than five years ago as more people gains access to public domain. As more Americans engage in online activities such as gaming, surfing, communicating with relatives and friends, and stock brokering, new companies are created. Now you have companies offering web design, web development, website hosting and SEO services. Aside from this, our age is growing up to careers like graphic design and web designers, types of work, which were inconceivable a decade ago.
Now you may be asking: What sort of work do these new companies engage in? Web development is the general term used to refer to all the activities I mentioned about. Any activity related to the creation of a website can be categorized under this term. Some professionals, however, insists that web development refers more to the technical side such as coding and networking.
Webdesign services are involved with the layout of a website. The web design is the first thing people notice when they visit a page. It is also one of the major factors considered by repeat visitors. There are four aspects of design: the content (basically this is the information on the site), the usability (the functions and features of the website), the appearance (should be enticing to readers0 and lastly, the visibility (people must be able to find your site!). The main goal of a good website designer is to make information readily available to his readers in a form that is very easy to understand.
SEO services are basically a marketing strategy used by sites to get more traffic, or in laymen’s terms, to get people to visit their sites. Say for example a person goes to Google and types in SEO, they should be able to find sites relating to search engine optimization and the those sites at the top of the list has the highest page rank, meaning, these are the sites which is visited most often. There are other websites which are not indexed or listed in Google, MSN or Yahoo. This means that unless you know the website’s name, no one will get to visit that site. To make your site popular, you need to build links to your site, and this is what companies engaged in SEO does.
Now, let’s talk about something less technical. Did you know that more people are spending more time with the internet than watching TV, reading the papers and listening to the radio? For one, you can do all these three things while sitting in front of your laptop. Now you no longer need a Tivo or a subscription to the local paper because now, you can get anything from the web for free! You can now do your shopping online; you can even gamble or take out loans from the internet. Aside from this, work is no longer confined to the office. When you need to beat a deadline, the internet gives best solution – bring your work home and let your VPN put you right back to work!
Surely, we are entering a new world – one where everything has its virtual counterpart. From teachers to bankers, friends and dates, everything we need is now online. But how has this affected our society today? In a study of 4,000 respondents, it was reported that internet usage was averaging at 2-5 hours a week while those in the extremes spend more than 10 hours in front of their computers. This has caused the 15% decline in social activities and another 25% who are spending lesser hours in talking to their friends or their families. Truly, this world has become a digital world of conveniences, and a world where people are losing contact with their social environment.
